How often should DJs update their photos ?

Keep It Fresh
I always do my best to keep a fresh look to my website. I think it's important to add changes to your website regularly in order to keep with the times. As much as I do try to practice what I preach, I came to a realization recently that some of the photos on my website were very outdated, and it was time to do a new photo shoot.
10 Years Earlier
It's hard to believe it's been 10 years since I enlisted the amazingly talented Teaghan McGiness to capture the elegant look that I wanted my website to display. The photoshoot took place in my living room, with a plain white wall in the background. Teaghan is one of the most incredible photographers I've ever met, and he absolutely nailed the look I was going for.
Since that photo was taken and posted as the main image for my website, 10 years has passed. In the 10 years, I've had the honour of DJ'ing over 500 events; weddings, corporate functions, club nights...you name it. My job as a DJ has brought my many evenings of great memories, and I never take for granted how lucky I am to be in the business of making people have a great time.
Getting With The Times
For my latest photoshoot, I enlisted the help of my good buddy Joel with Joelsview Photography. I work with Joel at weddings all the time, and he is an incredible photographer. I had the pleasure of working with Joel for my own family photoshoot a few years back, and his work was simply stunning. I knew I would be in good hands with Joel, and he did not disappoint. Joel put a lot of time and effort into his work, and before the photoshoot even began, Joel had already drove around downtown Kelowna looking for the perfect location. On the day of our shoot, Joel brought me to a few different locations, where we did a number of shots in various outfits. To say I was thrilled with the outcome of the shoot would be an understatement.
I hope you all enjoy the new look of my website, and as always, if you have any feedback I would love to hear from you!
